Cara Robins

Cara Robins is an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist and Neurodivergent Specialist based in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. She runs a busy full-time practice with a three-month waiting list, supporting hundreds of neurodivergent children, teenagers, and families through a warm, personalised, nervous system-led approach. Her work has been recognised in The Press & Journal for supporting neurodivergent families.

Cara is a late-realised, awaiting-diagnosis neurodivergent adult and mum to Seren, her non-verbal autistic daughter. Her lived experience brings depth, compassion, and authenticity to her work, alongside strong clinical insight. She is the creator of the S.E.R.E.N.S. Method, a neuro-affirming, trauma-informed framework focused on Sensory understanding, Empathy, Rest and regulation, Empowerment, Nurture, and Support. This underpins both her client work and the training she delivers.

Alongside her practice, Cara trains hypnotherapists to work confidently with neurodivergent clients and delivers workshops and talks that challenge outdated views of autism, ADHD, and mental health. She is passionate about creating spaces where clients feel safe to unmask, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with their strengths. Cara’s mission is simple: to move beyond labels and help people feel seen, understood, and empowered—creating meaningful, lasting change for neurodivergent individuals and their families.
